Hi, I’m Nat.

Creating is my outlet. It’s how I make sense of the world, and we all know the world can be a difficult place to make sense of.

I fell in love with still imagery because of its ability to let us capture fleeting moments…those moments that never repeat themselves in the same way. That split second when you catch the love shared between two humans or capture someone getting lost in a moment of expression.

What’s even more special is when someone invites you into their life to document these sentimental and vulnerable moments for them. By doing this, you become a part of that memory too.. and I think that’s pretty beautiful.

Where it all started…

My love for photography began in 2019 while I was training as a professional dancer in NYC. At the time I had an injury that took me out of dance for months so I decided to take a black and white film photography course where they taught us everything from how to understanding lighting to developing our own film and scans.

Being able to understand everything that goes into creating a single photography made my love for this craft grow. My background in dance has shaped me into the photographer that I am today.. one who pays attention to the little details and understands how movement translates to a photograph.

My partner and I booked this to celebrate our anniversary during some downtime in Miami before our cruise, and our shoot with Natalie was AMAZING! She was communicative with me beforehand, we put together an inspo pinterest board together, and she allowed us to build a bit of a more custom experience. This wasn’t just a “cute couple photos on the beach” run-of-the-mill type of shoot that you can find anywhere. Natalie has a keen eye & her portfolio speaks for itself. She really went above and beyond. I highly recommend this experience!

I searched for wedding photographers for months and couldn’t find a single one whose style I loved or whose personality really made me feel comfortable for our big day. Natalie came to North Carolina for our destination wedding and the rest is history - the photos she took are ones I couldn’t imagine in my wildest dreams!
